Audrey Hepburn - Tolochenaz
Audrey Hepburn, given name Audrey Kathleen Ruston(Ixelles4 May 1929 – Tolochenaz 20 January 1993) was an English actress. Raised in Belgium, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, where she lived under the Nazi regime, during the Second World War she studied dance and then moved on to theater and finally to cinema. The movie star has lived for more than thirty years on the property in La Paisible a Tolochenaz, above Lake Geneva, with her two children and partner, the Dutch actor Robert Wolders.

Audrey Hepburn - Tolochenaz
She died in 1993 and her remains were placed in the cemetery of Tolochenaz with a pavilion dedicated to her. Since 2002 the pavilion has been closed, but her tomb is still visible to make it possible to pay homage to the late actress.
Charlie Chaplin - Vevey
Charles Spencer Chaplin, known as Charlie (16 April 1889 – Corsier-sur-Vevey 25 December 1977) was a British actor, comedian, director, screenwriter, composer and film producer, author of over ninety films and among the most important and influential filmmakers of the twentieth century. He lived from 1952 in Manoir de Ban in Corsier, an 1840s neoclassical house near the town of Vevey.

Charlie Chaplin - Vevey
Returning from a tour of Europe, the FBI accused him of anti-American activities, cancelling his re-entry USA visa. Forced to remain in Europe, he settled in Vevey with his family where he lived until his death. His body lies in the cemetery of Corsier and it is possible to admire the bronze statue that has been dedicated to him, which is located on the promenade that runs along the shore of the lake.

Coco Chanel - Lausanne
Coco Chanel, pseudonym of Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel (Saumur, August 19, 1883 - Paris, January 10, 1971), was a famous French designer, able with her work to revolutionize the concept of femininity and to establish herself as a fundamental figure of fashion design and popular culture of the twentieth century. She founded the fashion house that bears her name, Chanel. She lived the last years of her life in the capital of the canton. During the Second World War he stayed at the Beau-Rivage Palace; Later, in 1966, he bought a house on the heights of Sauvabelin.

Coco Chanel - Lausanne
His body is now in the cemetery of Bois-de-Vaux in Lausanne: the tomb is adorned with five lions, a reminder of his zodiac sign.

Freddie Mercury - Montreux
Freddie Mercury first arrived in Montreux in 1978 together with Queen on the occasion of the Jazz Festival. That day he became fascinated by that place to the point of buying an apartment and settling in and living. To give an idea of how comfortable he was in Switzerland, it should be remembered that Lake Geneva is the backdrop to the cover of his latest album with the Queen "Made in Heaven" composed and recorded in the Studios he owned in Montreux.

Freddie Mercury - Montreux
In 1996 a bronze statue of him was erected along the lakeside promenade in memory of his presence in the Swiss town. The Lake House and statue are the most visited places in the city by tourists and fans from all over the world.

The American Film Institute, an independent non-profit organisation created by the National Endowment for the Arts and dedicated to the preservation and promotion of historical films, has produced several rankings relating to the world of cinema.
Among the rankings made, one of the most interesting is that of the Top 100 Villains in the history of cinema, basically the best antagonists or simple villains who have remained imprinted in the memory of the audience.
In the Top 100, Jack Nicholson, James Cagney, Robert Mitchum, Faye Dunaway and Bette Davis are the only ones to appear with two characters. Here, according to the AFI, is the Top 10 best 'villains' in film history.
